From the series; The Language of Things

Inspired by my Dad’s collection of mid-century vacuum cleaners, celebrating everyday objects.  

Working exclusively from my own photographs I use the images as blueprints to design realistic paintings. The painting was printed and listed online by Chronogram Magazine.

The original photograph that I shot on one roll of film in the 1980’s. While technical difficulties plagued the process of converting the original negatives to digital images I decided to paint a large version on canvas.
