Saturday Market

Posted on March 17, 2026

A fine tradition on Moloka’i when this painting was done were the tables along Ala Malama Ave with produce every Saturday grown on small farms and in backyards. I bought a selection of local fare to paint, but am not sure what the long bean is. The tiny peppers packed a wallop. This painting was part of the 90 day painting series and it was a little ambitious for one day. The original is available.
